'Woodland carpeted with bluebells greets the springtime visitor to the little village of Steppingley' - George M.S.F. 1953, Bedfordshire Magazine.
Nestled between the Woburn Estate and the historical market town of Ampthill, Steppingley is surrounded by undulating pasture land and woods. Once a purely agricultural village associated with the Duke of Bedford's Estate, it is now mostly residential with the majority of buildings dating back from 1860.
